Since its inception in 2011, the AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation has strived to foster a generation of effective and proactive individuals who will contribute to the positive, sustainable change of society, and the growth of the national economy. AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation believes in the empowerment of young Bahraini individuals, by providing them with the knowledge, skills and expertise necessary to achieve their fullest potential.
Our journey started with the Rayaat program, which provides a comprehensive approach to the education and personal development of the youth of Bahrain. The program offers scholarships for students to join accredited universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to other benefits such as the opportunity to take part in workshops, training in the public and private sectors, and financial incentives. The program also aims to promote social responsibility and encourages students to participate in volunteer work to serve the community.
We have also launched Ithra, a program that provides a unique experience for both students and mentors alike, with the aim of empowering Bahraini youth to become proactive “community-minded” citizens by instilling multiple essential skills, such as leadership and positive interaction with the community, through a range of mental and physical activities.
AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation also manages the Her Highness Sheikha Moza Bint Hamad Al Khalifa Fund, which aims to carry out charitable and humanitarian work based on the needs and requirements of the people of Bahrain, which benefits society as a whole.

OUR PROGRAMS
AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (“MKF”) is a non-profit foundation registered and licensed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development. Established in 2011 in the Kingdom of Bahrain, it aims to make a social impact in the education field and to empower Bahraini youth to reach their optimum potential. By providing Bahraini youth with knowledge, skills and character development programs, they will be able to develop themselves and their Kingdom further.
The MKF university scholarship program “Rayaat”, is a comprehensive approach to education and personal development. We provide students with scholarships at accredited universities in the Kingdom. In addition, the program offers financial incentives, enrichment workshops, work experiences, and community service opportunities within a supportive student environment.
Rayaat Objective:
• Empower students to achieve excellence and fulfil their full potential
• Equip students with knowledge, skills and work ethics.
• Encourage students to excel by offering financial incentives based on
educational performance.
• Emphasize the importance of good citizenship and national pride.
• Inspire and encourage students to take the entrepreneurship route.
At AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF), we are committed to providing a supportive, safe and stimulating environment that is both fun and challenging to help the youth of Bahrain overcome various challenges and obstacles they may face in their working lives.
The Fund of Her Highness Shaikha Moza bint Hamad AlKhalifa (may Allah bestow peace upon her soul) was created in 2011 upon the request of her daughters and is managed by AlMabarrah AlKhalifa Foundation. The Fund aims to carry out Charitable and Humanitarian work based on the needs and requirements of the Bahraini poeple which, in turn, benefit the society as a whole.
“Watheq” a university preparatory program, aims to bridge the gap between high school graduates and university requirements. It is designed to equip high school participants with essential skills and knowledge to ensure a successful, smooth, and enjoyable university life. These skills will enhance participants’ self-confidence, self-discipline, and independence to face the challenges they may encounter starting from choosing a university major, how to apply to universities, university requirements in addition to essential soft skills.
