Manama, Bahrain 20 March 2017: As part of its vision to instill a sense of social responsibility among Bahraini youth; AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation organized a public blood donation campaign in collaboration with the BDF Hospital on Thursday, March 16th 2017.
The blood donation campaign, which lasted from 8:30am to 1pm, was open to the public and aimed to promote the values of national pride and strengthen social ties among members of the society.
The campaign complemented the objectives of the first aid workshop which was provided by paramedic Hassan Al Noaimi of the Bahrain Red Crescent Society to students earlier this month, the workshop aimed to introduce the students to the importance of first aid.
Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation expressed her thanks and appreciation to all blood donors, and the BDF Hospital for its efforts in hosting the campaign.
In line with the vision of Bahrain 2030, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation continues to commit itself to strengthening the education sector, by focusing on its vision of achieving the desired education for every Bahraini citizen to become an active member of the society, capable of enhancing channels of communication and interaction.
