Manama, Bahrain – 18 January 2023 AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation announced the opening of registration for its ‘Rayaat Scholarship Program’ for the academic year of 2023/2024, starting from the 29th of January to the 8th of February 2023, the scholarships will include HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Scholarships, H.H Sh. Moza Bint Hamad Al Khalifa medical scholarship in cooperation with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RSCI). Registration for Master’s and doctorate degrees at University of Bahrain will be announced at a later date.
The list of participating universities also includes Bachelor’s degree scholarships at the University of Bahrain, Bahrain Polytechnic and. Additionally, 7 Bachelor’s degree scholarships will be provided as part of the HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Scholarships in partnership with the British University of Bahrain, Ahlia University, in addition to Bangor University and London School Of Economics And Political Science, under the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, and RCSI.
Students interested in applying for the Rayaat Scholarship Program can visit the Foundation’s website to review the eligibility criteria and fill out the registration form. Applications will be shortlisted, after which applicants will be selected based on personal achievements, participation, GPA, and volunteer work across the local community.
Commenting on the occasion, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, expressed her pleasure in the opening of registration for the Rayaat program, reaffirming that the upcoming generation of university-educated Bahraini students promises a future of conscious, educated youth. She added: “AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation’s goals primarily focus on supporting and encouraging students to make use of the various activities and initiatives offered, which aim to accelerate their personal growth and enable them to better serve the country and its future.”
Rayaat Scholarship program was launched in 2011 as a comprehensive approach to promote educational achievement and personal development. The program provides scholarships for students to join an accredited university in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as offering many benefits including financial incentives, workshops and opportunities, while promoting a culture of ‘community responsibility” by instilling volunteerism and community service within a supportive environment.
