AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation End Its 3rd Cycle of Rayaat Student Council

MANAMA, Bahrain 27 August 2020: AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF), announced the successful conclusion of the 3rd edition of Rayaat Student Council for the academic year 2019-2020. As the council made sure to support MKF’s activities despite the members’ working remotely during the pandemic. This encouraged an active environment for the  Rayaat students based on volunteerism and the love of giving back to society.

Among the Council’s main achievements during these times were conducting regular meetings titled: “Your perseverance is your path to success” and “The National Day Celebration”. Other events included: Become An Aware Community, Keep Your City Clean, The Charity Market for Cancer Patients, A Winter Clothing Drive, MKF Walk, Al-Shurooq Diabetes Camp for Children who were taken on an exploratory trip to Bahrain Dessert Factory and the Pearling Path in Muharraq.

Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation said: “We are happy to announce the success of the 3rd Edition of Rayaat Student Council, having achieved its goals to enhance volunteerism aimed towards students by encouraging them to lead and volunteer, as well as making them feel part of a larger family and creating and enhancing their personal skills and values through a diverse set of programs.”

Student Council President, Isa Al-Sobaie said: “On behalf of the Rayaat Students Council, I would like to thank every staff member of MKF starting with Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation who has provided with the necessary resources to equip students entering the job market. We have gained valuable skills and experiences that will put us on the right path towards a brighter future.”

The ‘Rayaat Scholarship’ program was launched in 2011, in line with the foundation’s vision to provide students with scholarship opportunities at accredited universities in the Kingdom, in addition to providing many benefits including financial incentives, workshops, and training opportunities in the public and private sector.
