AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Celebrates the Rayaat Program Graduation of its 10th Batch

Rayaat Program Graduation 10th Batch

AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation organized a graduation ceremony for the tenth batch of the Rayaat Scholarship program in the presence of Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, members of the Board of Trustees as well as other members of the Foundation. The celebration included 21 graduates, who have graduated from the following universities: the University of Bahrain, Bahrain Polytechnic, Bangor University, British University of Bahrain, in addition to two graduates who received their Bachelors in Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Bahrain (RSCI).

The graduates of the Rayaat program have undergone a number of courses and workshops that focused on several aspects including enhancing self-confidence, developing public speaking skills, management and communication skills, in addition to developing their English language. This comes with the aim of providing the students with the necessary skills required to pave their way to success in line with the labor market, and to help them excel in their future job roles efficiently. In addition, the graduates took part in workshops that go in line with the aim of developing the labor market, such as robotics, programming, and artificial intelligence.

The graduates received scholarship opportunities supported by private entities, which included:

HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Scholarships, Her Highness Shaikha Moza bint Hamad Al Khalifa Fund, McDonald’s scholarship, and the SICO scholarship. In addition, two graduates received the Barake Legacy Scholarship, As well as a medical scholarship in cooperation with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Bahrain (RSCI). The Foundation aspires to collaborate with private sector institutions to contribute to providing scholarship opportunities for students in supporting their academic journey.

The Foundation is keen on educating the students enrolled in the Rayaat program on the importance of volunteer work and developing a sense of belonging to their beloved Kingdom. In line with the Foundation’s core value, Rayaat students participated in several activities, which included the distribution of Ramadan boxes to families in need, and organizing entertaining activities to support different segments of society such as diabetic patients, people with determination and children of the Kingdom’s martyrs.

On this occasion, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation expressed her great pride in all members of the Foundation, particularly the graduates of the Rayaat Scholarship Program who showed academic excellence in their undergraduate studies and passed with a distinction. She also praised the merit of all Rayaat graduates from all batches, and their ability to secure jobs easily and progress in their career journey. Her Highness reviewed the Foundation’s directions to continue in investing and supporting promising Bahraini youth, by providing them with educational opportunities in academic degrees that keep pace with the demanding needs of the labor market, including IT, Engineering, Medicine and Business Administration.

The ceremony concluded by honoring the graduates and a group picture with Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, members of the Board of Trustees and other members of the Foundation..
