AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation announced the opening of registration for its ‘Rayaat Scholarship Program’ for the academic year of 2024/2025, the scholarships will include HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Scholarships, H.H Sh. Moza Bint Hamad Al Khalifa medical scholarship, as well as other scholarships at private universities within the Kingdom. The registration phase will go on for 11 days, starting from 04 February until 14 February 2024.
The Foundation aims to enable Bahraini youth to achieve excellence, support them in reaching their academic goals and provide them with further opportunities to continue with their university degrees. Through these initiatives, the Foundation also aims to create a conscious and educated generation capable of overcoming challenges, as well as motivating promising youth to enhance their contributions in developing their communities. The selection process for candidates is based on academic achievement, assessments and personal interviews, in addition to volunteer work and the applicant’s achievements.
This year, the Foundation intends to award a number of scholarships for bachelor’s degrees in cooperation with Bahrain Polytechnic, British University of Bahrain, Bangor University, University of Bahrain, London School of Economics, in addition to scholarships for an academic program offered by the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance in partnership with University of London, as part of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Scholarships. The Foundation will also offer, as part of this years’ opportunities H.H Sh. Moza Bint Hamad Al Khalifa medical scholarship at RSCI, and scholarships to study at the University of Technology Bahrain.
Commenting on the occasion, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, expressed her pleasure in the opening of registration for the Rayaat program, stressing increasing demand by Bahraini students to apply for such educational opportunities, which will ensure the progress of their academic journey in obtaining a university degree. This will reflect greatly on the future generation of educated youth capable of contributing to building the Kingdom’s fruitful future. Her Highness also reflected on the Foundation’s initiatives that support Bahraini students and encourage them to benefit from these proposed initiatives to help them further develop and progress at all academic, professional and social levels.”
Students interested in applying for the Rayaat Scholarship Program can visit the Foundation’s website to review the eligibility criteria and fill out the registration form. Applications will be shortlisted, after which applicants will be selected based on personal achievements, participation, GPA, and volunteer work across the local community.
Rayaat Scholarship program was launched in 2011 as a comprehensive approach to promote educational achievement and personal development to Bahraini youth. The program provides scholarships for students to join an accredited university in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as offering many benefits including financial incentives, workshops and opportunities within both the private and governmental sectors.
