MKFAlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation receives support from AlKooheji Charity Foundation to implement the “Khaleeji Awwalan Ambassadors” program across a number of universities in the Kingdom.

As part of its commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at empowering youth and enhancing their participation in the development process, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) has received support from AlKooheji Charity Foundation to contribute to the implementation of the “Khaleeji Awwalan Ambassadors” program across a number of universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This support will provide students with greater opportunities to develop their skills and participate in community initiatives led by future generations.
The program aims to select a group of university students and equip them to serve as ambassadors for the “Khaleeji Awwalan” campaign within their universities. Participants will undergo a comprehensive training program focused on developing leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, in addition to initiative design, project management, digital marketing, and partnership building.
Following the training, students will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired by developing and implementing initiatives that highlight the quality and diversity of products and services offered by countries across the region and encourage members of the community to make them their preferred choice, thereby contributing to strengthening Gulf identity. The support provided by AlKooheji Charity Foundation will contribute to achieving the program’s objectives and delivering a distinctive practical and training experience for participants, enabling them to transform their ideas into initiatives that create a tangible impact within universities and the wider community.
On this occasion, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, stated:
“We believe in the importance of integrating the efforts of civil society organisations to invest in youth, empower them to contribute effectively to their communities, and support the Gulf economy. The ‘Khaleeji Awwalan Ambassadors’ program provides university students with a practical platform that offers them the knowledge, tools, and space needed to launch youth-led initiatives. We greatly value the support of AlKooheji Charity Foundation, which will contribute to expanding the program’s impact and achieving its objectives.”
For his part, Mr. Abdulghaffar Abdulrahim AlKooheji, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AlKooheji Charity Foundation, praised the program, stating:
“We believe in the importance of investing in the potential of young people and empowering university students to develop their skills and participate in initiatives that strengthen Gulf identity and support the products and services of GCC countries. Our collaboration with AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation reflects our commitment to supporting initiatives that give young people a meaningful role in serving their communities and contribute to preparing an aware, proactive generation capable of creating a positive and sustainable impact.”
It is worth noting that the objectives of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation align closely with those of AlKooheji Charity Foundation, as both organisations seek to support educational and developmental initiatives that invest in young people and provide them with valuable opportunities to gain experience and contribute actively to community development.
The “Khaleeji Awwalan Ambassadors” program is one of the key programs under the “Khaleeji Awwalan” campaign launched by AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation. The campaign aims to foster a culture of prioritising Gulf products and services, highlight the quality and diversity of offerings across GCC countries, and strengthen the role of young people in supporting the economies of the region.
