AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Holds Its Annual National Day Celebration

Manama, Bahrain – 12 December 2022: As part of its commitment to strengthening national spirit and nurturing a sense of loyalty and belonging among students, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation held its annual event in celebration of the Kingdom of Bahrain's glorious National Day and the Accession Day of His Majesty the King. The ceremony, held on Saturday 10 December, was attended by members of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, led by Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees and Founder and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of MKF e-Services, alongside the Foundation's members, and a number of partners and supporters.

The event comes as part of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation's commitment to instilling the values of citizenship and enhancing the sense of belonging among students and members in particular, and within the local community in general. The celebration serves as an occasion to express love for the homeland and to renew the pledge of loyalty to the wise leadership. National celebrations are also a means of appreciating Bahrain's rich civilisation and gaining a deeper understanding of local history, helping to raise a generation that cherishes its national principles, takes pride in the achievements of its land, and stands united under the banner of giving and sacrifice for the progress and prosperity of the Kingdom.

The celebration opened with a speech delivered by Her Highness Shaikha Zain, in which she expressed her pride in the progress and development the Kingdom has achieved across various fields and sectors. She commended the efforts of the students and members of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation and their national initiatives, which have represented the Kingdom in the finest manner at local and international forums, noting that their engagement in such events reflects their awareness of the standing of their homeland and the depth of their feelings towards it. She also extended her warmest congratulations to the wise leadership on this occasion, which carries profound meaning as a day to celebrate the nation's accomplishments and its continuing journey of giving. Her Highness further praised the contributions of the supporting entities, whose role was pivotal in highlighting the event and ensuring its success.

The event was marked by a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere, featuring a range of competitions as well as recreational and cultural activities. Collaborating entities were honoured in recognition of their efforts in ensuring the success of the Foundation's initiatives, and outstanding students were also recognised in encouragement of their academic excellence and distinguished achievements. As part of the programme, the "Harmony" band was hosted to perform a selection of beautiful musical pieces.
