AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Celebrates the Glorious National Day

AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) held a celebration marking the Kingdom's glorious National Day, attended by members of the Board of Trustees, headed by Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, and by His Excellency Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, in addition to supporting entities, sponsors and a group of the foundation's beneficiaries.

Commenting on the occasion, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, said: "On my own behalf and on behalf of all members of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, I extend my highest congratulations and blessings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, and to the government and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the occasion of the Kingdom's National Day celebrations, which commemorate the establishment of the Bahraini state as an Arab Muslim state under its founder Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, the anniversary of its accession to the United Nations as a full member state, and the anniversary of His Majesty the King's assumption of the reins of government, may God protect and preserve him. We pray to Almighty God to protect our country and to sustain its blessings of security, safety and prosperity under His Majesty's prosperous reign."

The annual event featured a variety of entertainment activities and cultural competitions, along with a ceremony honouring the supporting entities in recognition of their cooperation and the efforts that have contributed to the success of the foundation's initiatives. Employees who have completed five years or more of service with the foundation were also honoured, while students and graduates of the Rayaat Scholarship Program presented their professional and academic achievements and shared their future plans for these projects with the audience. Artists among the foundation's beneficiaries shared their paintings expressing their love for their homeland and their celebration of the glorious National Day, and the ceremony included a signing of the book "The Curriculum That Is Not Taught" by Dr. Khawla Fouad, with copies distributed to all attendees.
