Ahli United Bank Supports AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation

Manama, 21 December / BNA / Mrs. Faiza Saeed, Group Head of Training and Competency Development at Ahli United Bank, received Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, member of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, and Mrs. Saba Yousif Siyadi, Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation.

On behalf of the bank, Mrs. Faiza Saeed presented a donation of twenty thousand Bahraini dinars to AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, in recognition and support by Ahli United Bank of the social and educational role played by the Foundation in the field of education and the development of Bahraini youth. Since its establishment in 2011, the Foundation has awarded, through the Rayaat Scholarship Program, 123 scholarships, including 92 at the University of Bahrain, 28 at Bahrain Polytechnic and 3 at the Arabian Gulf University, with the aim of providing Bahraini students with the opportunity to achieve their academic goals through a comprehensive and integrated programme. This is in addition to the Ithra Youth Programme, a four-year national programme that aims to develop Bahraini youth between the ages of 13 and 17 and to encourage them to realise their full potential so as to become active members of society.
On this occasion, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, extended her sincere thanks and appreciation to Ahli United Bank for its generous initiative and donation to the Foundation.
