MKFMKF Launches Volunteer Campaign with Distribution of Ramadan Food Baskets

Manama, 27 June (BNA) – In a bid to instil civilised values and principles, and as part of the volunteer initiatives run under the Rayaat Scholarship Program, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation has launched its campaign to distribute Ramadan food baskets to families in need. The campaign was organised in cooperation with the telecommunications company VIVA Bahrain through its Jusoor programme, which aims to extend support to those who need it, explore new ways of benefiting the local community and bring people closer together. A total of 50 baskets, containing most of the essential items required during the Holy Month, were allocated to benefit 50 families across the Kingdom's various governorates.
The participating students also introduced the families to the Rayaat programme and to the services provided by the Foundation. The families expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation for the Foundation's efforts and its tireless work to support students and develop them academically, in order to bring prosperity to the nation and drive development forward towards broader horizons.
