MKF Celebrates Graduating the 13th Cohort of Rayaat Scholarship Program
Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain – 17 October 2026: AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) hosted a graduation ceremony at its headquarters to honour the 13th cohort of the Rayaat Scholarship Program 2026. The event celebrated the accomplishments of graduates from bachelor's and master's degree programs, in the presence of Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, along with members of the Board and the Foundation’s administrative staff.
The graduating cohort represents students from several prominent higher education institutions across Bahrain, such as the University of Bahrain, Bahrain Polytechnic, the British University of Bahrain, Ahlia University, the Euro University of Bahrain, and other universities, who completed their studies across various academic disciplines that align with the evolving needs of the labour market.
On this special occasion, HH Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa expressed immense pride and joy in the graduates' academic achievement of high scores in various disciplines and the successful completion of their university studies following their careful selection and provision with vital skills for the labour market. She affirmed that this graduation marks a milestone in their journey toward building promising professional futures and stands as a testament to their perseverance throughout their academic pursuits.
HH Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa added, “We take pride in the achievements of the Rayaat program graduates and the studiousness they have demonstrated in successfully completing their academic journeys. Our role extends beyond supporting students during their education to encompass preparing them for professional life, equipping them with skills that nurture self-confidence and enable them to contribute effectively to their nation and community.”
The Rayaat program prioritises the comprehensive development of students by offering opportunities to enhance their personal and professional skills, improve their readiness for the labour market, and instil values of giving, belonging, and social responsibility.
The graduates had participated in a series of training courses and workshops focused on building self-confidence, assertiveness, public speaking, management, effective communication, and innovative problem-solving. This strengthened their professional preparedness and ability to meet workplace demands effectively.
Many of the cohort's graduates have already begun their careers by entering the labour market and assuming significant responsibilities. This continues the successful trajectory of previous cohorts, whose graduates have demonstrated excellence by securing prestigious positions at leading companies and institutions, highlighting the importance of investing in Bahraini youth’s education, training, and professional development.
The Rayaat program focuses on raising awareness about volunteerism and community engagement as part of the Foundation’s commitment to fostering active citizenship. This stems from MKF’s belief that giving back is a cornerstone of community development and aligns with the Foundation’s core values.
The ceremony concluded with HH Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa honouring the graduates and taking commemorative photos with them, accompanied by members of the Board of Trustees and the Foundation’s staff, celebrating their achievements and acknowledging their dedication through their academic journeys.
