Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) Supports the Ithra Youth Programme

Manama, 30 March /BNA/ As part of the Bahrain Petroleum Company's (Bapco) commitment towards community institutions and its affirmation of the concept of social partnership in order to advance comprehensive development and achieve the progress sought for Bahraini society, Eng. Ebrahim Talib, Bapco's Deputy Chief Executive for Refining and Marketing, received Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, member of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, and presented Bapco's support to the Foundation within the framework of joint cooperation in realising social partnership, in line with the Bahrain Petroleum Company's (Bapco) commitment towards community institutions and its affirmation of the concept of social partnership to promote comprehensive development and achieve the progress sought for Bahraini society.

Bapco stated that its support stems from its belief in the educational and social role played by AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation in developing Bahraini youth and empowering them in various fields, through the "Ithra Youth" programme, which aims to develop the younger generation and instil life values that elevate their abilities and raise their aspirations, by means of educational training workshops based on hands-on learning methods and effective practice. It is worth noting that the Ithra Youth programme is an educational investment by AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation in the field of youth development, alongside the "Rayaat" Scholarship Program, which aims to provide scholarships under a comprehensive and integrated programme that seeks to develop the student academically and practically.

The meeting was attended by Mrs. Saba Yousif Siyadi, Executive Director of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, Miss Fatima Abdulrahman Aljar, Manager of the Ithra Youth Programme, and Mr. Ali Yacoub Almiftah, Public Relations Manager at Bapco.

Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, extended her sincere thanks and gratitude to the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) for its support and its confidence in the Foundation's national programmes, which benefit both individuals and society.
