As Part of its Continued Engagement with Youth Development Programs and Community Empowerment Entities MKF Delegation Meets “Khaleeji First” Campaign Ambassadors During Youth City 2030 Visit

Manama, Bahrain – [29-07-2026]: A delegation from AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) visited Youth City 2030 to review the progress of the “Khaleeji First” Campaign Ambassador Program. Implemented by the Foundation in collaboration with MKF Connect, the training program seeks to prepare a promising generation of young people capable of designing and delivering community initiatives that raise awareness around the importance of supporting Gulf products and services.
The program combines interactive learning, creative thinking, and content development with practical training in teamwork, planning, leadership, and event management. This integrated approach provides participants with hands-on experience that strengthens their ability to contribute confidently to future community engagement and media initiatives.
During the visit, the Foundation’s delegation, headed by Her Highness Shaikha Hala bint Mohamed bin Abdulla AlKhalifa, General Secretary of the Board of Trustees, met with the program’s participants and reviewed the outcomes of the training workshop. It provides an applied experience that simulates various stages involved in developing and organizing a community event, beginning with concept creation, and continuing through planning and implementation.
Working in teams and dedicated organizing committees, participants develop initiatives intended to encourage consumers to choose products and services from the Gulf, strengthen their presence and distribution across regional markets, and contribute to the growth of Gulf businesses and the wider GCC economy.
Her Highness and the accompanying delegation also toured Youth City 2030’s facilities and program areas, where they were briefed on the activities offered and the integrated environment created to build skills, identify talent, and encourage creativity and innovation.
The delegation commended the Ministry of Youth Affairs for its efforts in organizing Youth City 2030 and delivering high-quality programs that contribute to empowering Bahraini young people, expanding their capabilities, and enabling them to gain practical experience across a variety of fields.
Speaking during her meeting with the ambassadors, Her Highness Shaikha Hala bint Mohamed bin Abdulla AlKhalifa, Secretary of the Board of Trustees of MKF, said: “Young people have a pivotal role to play in leading community initiatives and creating a positive, lasting societal impact. Investing in their abilities and ideas is essential to building a future increasingly driven by innovation and sustainability principles.”

The ambassadors expressed their appreciation for the delegation’s visit, noting that the opportunity to meet with Her Highness Shaikha Hala bint Mohamed bin Abdulla AlKhalifa and the Foundation’s representatives provided strong encouragement to continue advancing their ideas and projects conceived throughout the program.
They added that the visit reflected MKF’s dedication to investing in the potential of younger generations and reinforced their motivation to develop innovative projects aligned with the objectives of the “Khaleeji First” campaign. They also emphasized their commitment to applying the knowledge and practical skills acquired during the training program to future community-focused activities.
