AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Opens Applications for Postgraduate Scholarships

Manama, 23 January / BNA / As part of its educational programmes offered this year,
AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation has announced the opening of registration for the Rayaat Scholarship Program for postgraduate studies. The programme is in line with the Foundation's vision of nurturing an aware and cultured generation, equipped with knowledge and learning and able to meet challenges in order to contribute effectively to society and drive it towards progress and development. The Rayaat Scholarship Program for postgraduate studies is the second in a series of programmes offered by AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation in support of the educational movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain, following the Rayaat bachelor's degree programme, which covers 122 male and female students across a range of university disciplines, 16 of whom have graduated to date.

For her part, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, affirmed that the Foundation is working diligently to intensify its efforts and raise its ambitions in the service of the nation's sons and daughters who aspire to a promising and bright future, by increasing the number of study places offered through the Rayaat programme. Her Highness stressed the importance of providing suitable opportunities for those wishing to complete their postgraduate studies and advance their educational level across various university disciplines, in accordance with the requirements of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation and in keeping with its aspirations and its desire to serve the nation's youth and elevate their educational attainment.

AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation explained that registration for the Rayaat Scholarship Program for postgraduate studies will be open from 1 February until 30 April of this year. The programme covers master's degrees in all disciplines offered by the University of Bahrain, in addition to master's studies in learning disabilities, gifted education, and disabilities and autism at the Arabian Gulf University.
