AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKFBH) has announced the launch of its 2025 edition of the Ithra Summer Youth Programme series, which includes Ithra Youth, Ithra Young Leaders, and Ithra Buds. These programmes aim to offer a rewarding and holistic experience for a broader age group.
For the first time, the foundation has introduced Ithra Youth, targeting youth aged 15 to 16. This new addition serves as a comprehensive training platform designed to build advanced skills and provide practical knowledge, preparing participants for future life stages and empowering them to shape their own paths. Graduates of the Ithra series are encouraged to continue benefiting by enrolling in age-appropriate programs in subsequent years.
Ithra Buds continues to cater to children aged 10 to 12 through an educational and training program focused on developing essential life skills in an engaging and enjoyable manner. Meanwhile, Ithra Young Leaders is designed for ages 13 to 14, offering scientific and practical experiences to help youth build a brighter future for themselves and their communities. Each programme can accommodate over 30 participants per season.
The curriculum for all programmes is developed based on a comprehensive assessment of participant needs and self-evaluations. The programmes are led by qualified and experienced trainers and rely on fundamental educational and training methods such as hands-on workshops, field visits, diverse challenges, camps, sports days, and arts and crafts activities, all of which make learning an inspiring and enjoyable experience.
