AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Renews their Scholarship Agreement with the University of Bahrain

Riffa, Bahrain—10 March 2021: AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation announced that they would be renewing their contract with the University of Bahrain which includes providing scholarships for Bachelor students. The Rayaat scholarship program includes covering tuition fees, as well as, participating in workshops and development courses and offering opportunities to train in both the public and private sectors. In addition, the students have financial incentives, a chance to serve their communities, volunteer and participate in monthly educational and recreational meetings. Furthermore, they are able to issue a Rayaat card which will provide them with multiple benefits for cardholders only.

AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation’s goals focus primarily on supporting their students and encouraging them to benefit from a wide array of activities and initiatives. These initiatives aim to refine their personalities on all levels so they can effectively contribute to the prosperity of this nation. The foundation had already provided 302 scholarships, 225 of which are in the University of Bahrain, which has supported the foundation’s initiatives since it was established.

In light of this occasion, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, said: “Firstly, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to the University of Bahrain for their incredible work and cooperation. The university shares our efforts in empowering Bahraini youth and developing their scientific and practical skills across various fields.”

She added saying: “The Rayaat program aligns with the foundation’s vision in supporting young Bahrainis to achieve their dreams and ambitions with distinction. We provide them with the opportunity to pursue a university education and is done in order to create an open, educated, and knowledgeable generation that is able to face any kind of challenge coming their way and it will henceforth enable them to contribute to society and push it towards a future full of development and prosperity.”

The Rayaat Scholarship Program was launched in 2011; it follows a comprehensive approach to the education and personal development of Bahraini Youth by providing them with scholarships at accredited universities in the Kingdom, in addition to other training opportunities in the public and private sectors, with the aim of developing skills among the students by providing them with necessary workplace ethics. The program also aims to enhance the concept of social responsibility towards the Kingdom and encourage students to participate in volunteer work to serve the local community.
