AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Concludes its Summer Training Program

 

Manama, Bahrain 18 July 2017: AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation concluded the fourth edition of its Ithra summer training program, which was launched in cooperation with McDonalds, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) and Bahrain Airport Services. The program ran for three weeks between the 9th to the 27th of July.

The program witnessed the participation of a total of 58 students, which were divided in to groups that were distributed across the three participating companies. Each group received a different practical experience, which helped instill positive values, concepts, and enabled them to deal with realistic situations and various functional requirements.

McDonalds three-week training program included 39 students, which were given assignments that contributed to enhancing the spirit of cooperation and teamwork and taught them how to work efficiently when under pressure.

While another batch of 11 students participated in KFH’s one-week training program. The students concluded the practical program by introducing a project idea for the management of KFH, in addition to other tasks that established a sense of responsibility and ways of dealing with customers and auditors. Also, eight students participated in the Bahrain Airport Company program, where they were trained on company operations and the working environment in various sections of import and supple of goods and warehouses.

Ithra’s summer training program was aimed at students aged between 14 and 17 years old, providing a unique learning experience that seeks to promote creativity, self-confidence, and improve students’ practical skills to qualify them to enter the job market.
