AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation recently celebrated the 11th graduating batch of the Rayaat Scholarship Program at Angelina Paris Café. The celebration included 18 graduates from across various majors and the following universities: University of Bahrain, Bahrain Polytechnic, Bangor University, British University of Bahrain, and two graduates from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain). The event was hosted in the presence of Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, members of the Board of Trustees and the administrative team.
The Rayaat graduates participated in a number of courses and workshops on several topics, including: developing self-confidence, self-affirmation, English language development, enhancing speech and management skills, and communicating with others. The diverse workshops aim to equip the students with the necessary tools to navigate the job market and prepare them to take on their future careers.
As part of its key pillars, the Foundation strives to instill volunteerism and national pride amongst its students. As such, the scholarship students volunteered in various projects including: distributing Ramadhan necessities to families in need and organising recreational events to support different community segments.
On the occasion, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, expressed her happiness and pride in the graduates for their incredible success. She also extended her gratitude and appreciation to RCSI Bahrain and the British University of Bahrain for their continued support. She concluded the ceremony with a commemorative photo with the graduates, alongside members of the Board of Trustees and the Foundation’s administrative staff.
