AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Announces Registration for HH Shaikha Moza bint Hamad Medical Grant

In collaboration with RCSI Bahrain for the 4th consecutive year

Manama, Bahrain – 01 June 2020: In collaboration with the Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain), AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation announced the commencement of the registration phase for Her Highness Shaikha Moza bint Hamad Medical Grant for the undergraduate medicine program for the fourth consecutive year. Registration will run from 7th to 20th June 2020 via the Foundation’s website. The grant comes in line with the Foundation’s aim to provide more opportunities for high-achieving students in the Kingdom and enable them to attain their academic and career goals.

Her Highness’s Scholarship will cover tuition fees, as well as other benefits under the Rayaat program for one student, who will be selected according to a set of criteria. Eligible applicants must be of Bahraini nationality, fresh graduates, with a minimum average of 98% in a secondary school in the field of science. The student must complete all procedures pertaining to the application process and obtaining admission at RCSI Bahrain for entry. They must also apply to both MKF and RCSI Bahrain’s websites. Students will be selected after a thorough assessment of the online application, interview, and volunteer work, signifying positive engagement within the community, and marked progress in knowledge and practical skills.

Commenting on the occasion, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, said: “We would like to thank RCSI Bahrain for its continued support over the past three years to provide this unique opportunity for students to enroll in a major which fulfills their academic ambitions. The grant covers all tuition costs and enables students to enhance their skills further through Rayaat Scholarship Program’s workshops and activities.”

The “Rayaat Scholarship’ program was launched in 2011, in line with the foundation’s vision to provide students with scholarship opportunities at accredited universities in the Kingdom, in addition to providing many benefits including financial incentives, workshops, and training opportunities in public and private sectors.
