AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (“MKF“) is a non-profit foundation registered and licensed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development. Established in 2011 in the Kingdom of Bahrain, its aim is to make a social impact in the education field and to empower Bahraini youth to reach their optimum potential.
MKF’s only source of income is from donations usually from individuals, private and public institutions who believe in MKF’s cause.
The MKF scholarship program “Rayaat” was developed in 2011 as a comprehensive approach to education and personal development. The program provides students with scholarships at accredited universities in the Kingdom. In addition, the program offers financial incentives, enrichment workshops, work experiences, and community service opportunities within a supportive student environment.

The MKF Youth Enrichment Program “Ithra”, launched in 2012, is a four-year program that aims to empower Bahraini youth to become proactive “community-minded” citizens
The main program lasts for 8 weeks. However, there are supplementary programs that take place during the year.
