Manama, Bahrain 12th February 2017: AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation held a workshop entitled “Job Hunting Journey” presented by Tamkeen Community Advisor in Customer Engagement and Support Department, Mohammed Ali, for students enrolled in the ‘Rayaat Scholarship Program’. The workshop held at Bait Al Tejar is a part of Rayaat’s monthly program for the students.
The workshop focused on highlighting the appropriate channels to be taken by students when searching for jobs. The workshop, held in an interactive manner, also shed the light on the recruitment process of companies. He also focused on developing eye-catching curriculum vitae and tools that can be used during this journey.
“We would like to thank Tamkeen for their continuous support for the Foundation. Such partnerships and cooperation with different public and private entities strengthens our mission and allows us to further serve the community,” said the Board of Trustees’ chairperson Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa.
The “Rayaat Scholarship” program was launched in 2011 as a comprehensive approach to promote educational achievement and personal development through providing students with scholarship opportunities at accredited universities in the Kingdom.
The “Rayaat Scholarship” program aims to cover the tuition fees of students in addition to monthly financial incentives for outstanding students. Other benefits include Rayaat Student Card which offers exclusive discounts at a number of retail outlets. Moreover, enrichment workshops, job-placement, and community service opportunities are offered within a supportive environment that encourages students to take an active role in the community.
