Rayaat Scholarship Programs

The MKF university scholarship program “Rayaat”, was initiated in 2011 as a comprehensive approach to education and personal development. We provide students with scholarships at accredited universities in the Kingdom. In addition, the program offers financial incentives, enrichment workshops, work experiences, and community service opportunities within a supportive student environment.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Will be opened in April 2026

Under the umbrella of the Rayaat Scholarship Program, AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation launches AlTamayaz Scholarship for postgraduate studies (Master’s or PhD degrees) in innovative fields that contribute positively to the Bahraini labour market and society. These scholarships are intended for outstanding and high-achieving students who are passionate about their fields and possess exceptional leadership qualities. The program aims to provide advanced academic support in rare specialisations at prestigious universities, fostering a nurturing and inspiring environment for talented Bahraini youth

  • Bahraini national, passionate about their field of work, and aiming to enhance their academic level.
  • Graduated from a recognised university accredited by the Ministry of Education.
  • Achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher upon graduation.
  • Academic qualifications must align with the desired specialisation.
  • Must hold an acceptance letter from the university they intend to enrol in.
  • Recipient of awards or achievements at the local, regional, or global level.
  • Demonstrated passion for volunteer work with notable accomplishments in community service.
  • Possess the ability to make an impact: show effective leadership skills and tangible contributions to community development.

Aims and objective

The purpose of the Rayaat Student Council is for members to enable students to contribute towards the creation of an effective and lively environment, based on the principles of volunteering and a passion for giving back to society.
